Celebrate Arizona! is a unique and innovate way to teach fourth graders at Ward Traditional Academy about the several cultures and time periods of Arizonas history. Each year the students produce and perform a 35-minute musical incorporating social studies and the musical elements. Using their Arizona history text as a guide, the children learn about Native Americans, Spanish culture, pioneers and mining.
