Arizona law schools-Tempe or Tucson?

Is there a huge difference between the legal education at the Tempe law school and the one in Tucson? I'm living in IL, trying to gather info on both schools and they both look great. I'm wondering if anyone is a current student or alumni and can offer info on what the experience was like from an academic standpoint. I will most likely sit the bar in IL, but they seem to have some great international legal programs there.

  1. Perdendosi says:

If you’re going to be an Illinois lawyer, GO TO AN ILLINOIS LAW SCHOOL. Not just because the schools teach illinois law (few do) but because you’ll get LOTS more job connections for the job market later. Otherwise, employers will always ask: “Why did you go to arizona for law school if you were always planning on coming back to Illinois?”
There are lots of places with good international programs, and almost every law school allows you to study abroad, if that’s what you want to do
(Now, if you can get into a top-ranked school for international law, say Georgetown or Columbia, etc., then go there; no one will question why you went to those schools, provided you can pay for them. But ASU and AU? Really? Or do you want to party it up in the sun during the winter?)
