I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—you can find anything online—even fun. Especially fun!

What Will They Think Of Next?

In this day and age of advanced technology, playing games online doesn’t have to mean the same old cut and dried you against the computer anymore. With the introduction of open source games, people numbering nearly into the thousands can all play the same game at the same time. Artificial intelligence still comes into play, but you can also match wits and hits with other live individuals like yourself. Story lines vary slightly but it’s basically you or us against them with either space themes, fantasy themes or some type of war or battle grounds. Even though you may be a human playing a computer game there’s certainly no reason to look like one. Avatars of all shapes, sizes and origins are the characters in today’s games. With the weird looking creatures that some games offer it makes me look at almost all of the scenarios as fantasy; even those that are reality based.

Not all online games are of a violent nature however. There are puzzle games that involve finding hidden objects, mystery and intrigue (as well as a certain level of intelligence); music games that run the gamut from composing your own music all the way up to memorizing notes and patterns; and for the gambler, there are online casino games that may or may not pay out real money (of course you have to invest in those that pay first). Of course there are still the old school Mario type escapades; racing games; sports games; arcade games and the lot.
